Mind the length
Hair about a quarter inch long, roughly three to four weeks of growth, so the paste can grip.
Come clean
Skip lotion, oil and sunscreen on the area on the day. We cleanse the skin, but it helps to start clear.
Wear loose clothing
Something you can sit in comfortably for the length of the visit.

A new product, a sunburn or a change in your skin: tell us at check-in and we'll plan around it.

Keep it clean and cool
Wash with a gentle cleanser and cool water for the first day, and wear loose clothing.
Skip heat and friction
Avoid hot tubs, saunas, tanning and hard workouts for a day.
Go easy on scrubs
Wait a few days before scrubs, acids or exfoliating brushes on the area.
