Sugaring in Anaheim

Sugaring on a plan that fits your calendar

Two estheticians, one quiet room. Choose a visit every four or six weeks, and hear how the method works in plain words before you book.

A wood-paneled room with a bed under a cream waffle blanket, a rattan stool, open shelves of jars and a plant by the window

The method

Sugar, lemon juice and water

Sugaring uses a paste of sugar, lemon juice and water, warmed until it moves like thick honey. Your esthetician works it on by hand, against the way the hair grows, and lifts it away with the growth.

There are no strips and no spatulas. We can tell you every ingredient we use, and results vary with your hair, your skin and how often you come.

  • Sugar, lemon juice and water

  • Applied by hand, lifted with the growth

  • Ingredients named on request

Sugar in a glass bowl, a halved lemon and a jar of golden paste with a wooden spoon, on a counter

The wax plan

A visit every four to six weeks

Pick the rhythm that matches how fast your hair grows. Each plan states its term, how to cancel and what happens to your deposit.

  • Every four weeks

    A visit every four weeks

For areas where hair comes back quickly, kept up on a steady rhythm.

    • A standing time with the same esthetician
    • Face, brows and underarms suit this rhythm
    • Add an area at any visit
    • Move a visit with 24 hours' notice
    Term:
Three visits to start, then month to month
    Cancellation:
Seven days' notice before your next visit, by text, call or email
    Refunds:
Your deposit goes back to you when you cancel with notice. A visit missed without notice keeps it.
  • Every six weeks

    A good place to start

    A visit every six weeks

For arms, legs and the bikini line, where six weeks lets the hair grow long enough to lift cleanly.

    • A standing time with the same esthetician
    • Arms, legs and bikini line suit this rhythm
    • Add an area at any visit
    • Move a visit with 24 hours' notice

Questions

Before you book

How does the wax plan work?

You choose a visit every four or six weeks and we hold a standing time for you with the same esthetician. After the first visits it runs month to month, and you can move a visit with 24 hours' notice.

What is sugaring?

A paste of sugar, lemon juice and water, worked on by hand against the way the hair grows and lifted away with it. We can tell you every ingredient we use.

How long should my hair be?

About a quarter inch, roughly three to four weeks of growth, so the paste can grip. If it is shorter, we tell you to wait; if it is longer, we may trim it first.

Why a patch test first?

We try the paste on a small spot at the start of a first visit, to check how your skin responds that day. At a first visit we wait and look at the spot with you before going on.

Can I stop in the middle of a visit?

Yes. Say stop and we stop. You decide whether to go on, change the area or end the visit.
